BRIAN (Justin Braun) • Brian's always been an outsider and never been noticed much by the popular crowd. He's self-aware and understands the rules of teen drama, but plans to break every one of them. He broods every chance he gets, and now its finally paying off when Kiera, the most popular girl at school, invites him to a party at the cheer captain's house.
KIERA (Julia Lehman) - Popularity isn't all its cracked up to be. Kiera is the most popular girl in school, but rather then hit all the best parties, she'd rather stay at home and draw broken hearts on her wrist. Her best friend is Winter, and she's dating Joel, the star jock, but secretly she aches for something more...
SCOOTER (Dylan Vigus) • Scooter and Brian have been best friends since they were in elementary school. Unlike Brian, Scooter has no desire to brood or become popular. He's comfortable with his mediocre high school life and staying home playing Uno. Scooter harbors a secret love for Winter, the cheer captain, but is unable to talk to her due to his uncontrollable verbal diarrhea.
JOEL (Brian Hernandez) • The star jock at Santa Monica High and the envy of every man, woman and child. He's dating Kiera, but when she's not around he enjoys making lewd gestures with his jock friends, and hooking up with any freshman girl.
WINTER (Amelia Meyers) • Popularity, beauty, and brains... what more could you ask for? Well minus the brains. Winter is the captain of the cheerleaders and the Queen Bee at school, deciding what's popular and when. She's Kiera's best friend, but sometimes gets a little jealous of all the attention Kiera gets. Winter throws the best parties. She also has a secret that only Kiera knows.
MRS. ANDERSON (Shirly Brener) • Kiera's super-hot mom. She was the cheer captain and dated the popular jock when she was in high school, but now she's like...older. That doesn't stop Mrs. Anderson from keeping cool with the in-crowd at school. She lives vicariously through her daughter's life, much of the time to her daughter's dismay.
ROB (Younger Robbins) • Joel's teammate. Lives in Joel's shadow and enjoys it. When not playing football or harrassing outsiders, Rob excels at Home Economics and volunteers, singing to the elderly once a week.

TARA (Erin Cathcart) - When Tara's not planning to kill Winter, she spends her free time trying to get back on the cheerleading squad and searching for new friends who appreciate her outspoken ways.
